About Malinda Murray
Malinda Murray came to Texas State in March, 2009 after having worked as graphic designer for clients like 3M, Schlotzsky's (Focus Brands), Mama Fus Restaurants and The University of Texas School of Ethical Leadership. She did web design and graphic design work for Eblox Web Design, Jaya Furniture and San Antonio Surgical Arts. Prior to that she worked in the design and ad industry as an art director/designer doing national ad work for clients like Holiday Inn Select and Kimberley-Clark.

At Texas State, Malinda is responsible for the creation of the department's corporate identity, advertising and publication design. She designs and edits the department website, shoots photography for various events and provides administrative and marketing support for the department, professors and staff.

Her personal interests include small business coaching, cycling, and exploring the small towns and natural areas of central Texas.

She works with Texas State's Native American Student Association as a volunteer doing event publication design
and as an event supporter.
