About Malinda Murray
At Texas State, Malinda is responsible for the creation of the department's corporate identity, advertising and publication design. She maintains and edits the department website, shoots photography for various events and provides marketing support for the department, professors and staff.

Ms. Murray's past work experience included corporate collateral and identity design work for austin area small businesses, healthcare and restaurants. Prior to that she worked in the design and ad industry as an art director/designer doing national ad work including corporate design work for UT Austin, 3M, Schlotzsky's (Focus Brands), Mama Fus Restaurants, Holiday Inn Select Hotels, and Kimberley-Clark.

Her personal interests include small business coaching, cycling, and exploring the small towns and natural areas of central Texas. She works with Texas State's Native American Student Association as a volunteer doing event publication design and as an event supporter.
